Meet the Team

Dr. Nicole Taylor

Clinic Owner

My name is Dr. Nicole Taylor and I'm excited to share a little bit about myself as the founder of this dynamic business. With a deep passion for dance that spans over 15 years, I have immersed myself in the world of competitive movement and artistic expression from a young age. In college, I received my undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from San Diego State University while also having the privilege of dancing and competing as a D1 athlete on their renowned dance team for 4 years. I then pursued my Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy at SDSU to further expand my passion for helping artistic athletes reach their full potential. Through countless hours of training, performing, and teaching, I have developed a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the field. As a dedicated dance instructor and licensed physical therapist, my aim is to inspire and guide individuals of all skill levels to discover their true potential, embrace their creativity, and experience the transformative power of dance. At Impact Dance and Physical Therapy, we believe in fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone can thrive and unleash their inner dancer. Join me on this adventure, and together, let's make an impact through the art of movement.

Dr. Kimby Mungovan

With over 20 years of dance experience I am excited to be part of the Impact Dance and Physical Therapy team to continue my work in the industry by helping artistic athletes rehabilitate and prevent injuries. During my 4 years at the University of Oregon I had the opportunity to be a part of both the competitive Club Dance Team as well as the D1 UO Cheer Team. I also had the privileged of being a professional NBA dancer for the Portland Trailblazers. I then came to San Diego to pursue my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from SDSU, and have been working as an Orthopedic Physical Therapist in the San Diego area ever since!
